### Modifiers / Replacements

For POS systems that support modifiers (replacements, extras), RESTOCK enables a section called **ITEM(S) CANCELLED** in the cost edition window (Sales mix).
This feature allows to exclude items that have been replaced by others using a modifier from the sales data.
For example, let's say a meal is sold by default with a side of rice, but a modifier **Replace rice by salad** has been applied to the sale. Simply find this modifier item in the sales mix and select **Rice** as the canceled item.
Thus, each time this modifier is applied to a sale, Rice won't be debited from inventory and the cost will be adjusted considering the replacement.
